My GHD has lasted for at least 2 years, maybe 3yrs now, its been great, although it's old but straightening like it used to,i've never heard of any other straightener lasting that long! I am looking into a folica, but came across this review & am now wondering if i should get another ghd - what to do!I finally decide to buy the same ghd ,ghd flat iron is a great product, would recommend it to anyone, its more than worth the price you pay for it, it lasts for a long time.
